The 12th century one of the luminaries ‘Machi Deva’ multilingual film (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu) audio consisting of 14 songs scored by legendary Hamsalekha was released at Basava Samithi near Race Course Road on Thursday morning.

Karnataka Minister Anjaneya graced audio release event and said films on eye openers in the present day would be helpful in reformation of society. The government could come up with more support to such films he mentioned.

Murugurajendra Math Swamiji said Machi Deva is Ditta Sharana. Films were made on Basavanna, Haralayya, Kanakadasa and it is fine such a film on Machi Deva is done.

As Bijjala in this ‘Machi Deva’ BC Patil politician has played the role out of happiness. He has not charged any remuneration for his performance.

The key role of Machaiah is played by Saikumar, Charulatha is Mrs Machideva. Hamsalekha addressing the good crowd at audio release said he has liked the subject matter and very happy to score music for such a legendary personality. I have used only local singers he pointed in his address.
